a mother is a mother, thats true, but no matter what the circumstances are, a mother should never abandon her child! she probably didnt have time for the girl as she was too busy showing off her body. i feel sorry for the poor girl who has to suffer knowing that haifa wehbe is her mother!!!

I don't think she abandon her child even I'm not Haifa fan she seems to care about her child from what I heard that her ex husband took the custidy of the kid and Haifa not allowed to see her. In some arabic country it's like that and I'm sure the girl is not even living in lebanon but another country and she doesn't know that haifa she's her mom. I feel sorry for Haifa because it the worst thing it can happend to a mother. And I understand she's ready to do anything to have her child back. I never want to judge Haifa because I think she had a hard time in her life and perhapes she want to be in the top with power and money to payback.

The story is that haifa married the wrong guy ..he was so powerful,and possesive..she couldn't leave with him. He didn't wanna give her the daughter. He took the daughter by force, and money.She was not powerful like him at that time..and he did evetything to bring her down and to him...and one of the things is to put a story and get her involved in something bad so the police, and the whole world would think she is a bad person,but it turned out that she is innocent, and there has been some bad ppl behind it...The girl is suffering..on stage she seems happy, but once you bring that subject she starts to cry...she is so sensitive...she is a mom..Her ex husband is so powerful in south Africa...Hopefully she'll be able to see her daughter one day...If you can make a difference between haifa on stage, and haifa the person..you will see the big difference... Just at al wady..the way she was speaking, talking..etc..you can notice how sweet, intelligent and kind....She acts on stage as a spoiled little girl..Like the sherihane type when she laughs and stuff...but she can't act when she is Haifa wehbe the human that the motherhood was taken from her...She is not a bad girl at all..she is an open minded woman, stylish, she dare to wear whatever she wants..but i'm sure she won't make herself cheap, and sleep around...she is famous..lot of people know her..she won't give any ennemy a chance to speak bad about her...BElieve ME You don't wanna be in her shoes...She paid so much for everything..Even the guy she wanted to be with ( al jafaly ) she was not lucky..The destiny made her a star in al wady, but took away the Only man that she loved and wanted to be with after her ex husband....It is hard...everything has a price...The girl is not happy...but she is just making us happy in front of the camera....Always put your shoes in others shoes....

Haifa is a singer who has her fans. Even though fans get obssessed with super stars' personal lives, the interveiwer shouldn't have pushed too hard. He is asking her as if she had her daughter illigitimately which she didn't. She was married and lost her daughter to an abusive husband! He shoul've backed off!

actually i think that he was very right in pushing her to talk about this becuz i am sure that haifa is not alone. im sure many mothers have the same problem. also, if she does talk, maybe some1, like a lawyer, will be able to help her.

i don't know much about Haifa mot i think it's important to udnerstand that the way she acts on stage is a part of the showbiz, it's typical people making too fast conclusions abaout a famous persons private personality..

When i watch this tape i really feel sorry for her. in many arabic countries, Iran as well, the man and father has the law on his side. And you guys know that people with power often gets their wishes true. i heard her husband was abusive and took the daughter away from her..

I know a few women who have been through this, it's a living hell having your kids "kidnapped" by jelous ex-parters who accuse the mothers to be bad mums and so on...

I think this is a very important subject, and i think that the interviewer should be abit more objective and stop pushing her like that. People are having a hard time, i think that everyone must have respect for what could have happend in peoples lives we don't now....

and all this bullshit from many of you, thats she's supercheap and so on.. haifa is'nt classy but I think that a woman should be her own ruler, it's 2006 let the girl wear what she wants, who cares if she wasn't married when she had her baby... it is persons like you who makes it hard for single mothers who has all this thoughts abóut how women should behave and so on. it's not your buisness. Rich arabic men have there fun, but when it comes to women Haifa must be like your mother?

She is just faking it to get attention. No woman in her right mind, if she loved her daughter would not see her in ten years straight!! She is just money hungry and she doesn't care about her daughter one bit. Anyone can cry especially when their on TV. Im not surprised and i don't think that she cares about her daughter one bit. Its all publicity for her.
