Ireland: Priceless

I gave my daughter a trip to Ireland for her high school graduation. No, we aren’t rich. I merely planned well—for a whole year! I got a great deal on airfare thanks to SkyAuction.com; and we shared costs once we got there (gas, lodging, meals, and car rental). We came home with money in our pockets.
Things you won’t want to miss in Ireland:
- Guinness in pubs on Sunday afternoons where the whole village gathers to sing along with local minstrels and musicians
- In Dublin: The Kitchen—Bono’s club, Trinity College and the Book of Kells display, and the Irish Writer’s Museum or James Joyce Museum – you can even take a Bloomsday hike
- Bunratty Folk Park near Limerick – spend the whole day
