The month of hearts is almost upon us once again. Ohhhh … what it is to be in love and be with the one you love on Valentine’s day. February 14 is the day that a lot of sweethearts and couples look forward to. Personally, I think nothing will beat the feeling of holding hands with the one you love on this very day in a very romantic setting. I know there are a lot of romantic settings to be found in the world, but for me one of the most romantic cities in the world is Venice, in Italy. And if you remember this is the place of Casanova – Gian Giacomo Girolamo Casanova, the most romantic figure who ever existed.

Venice is perfect place for couples because of the awesome sights to be found there. If you want to go walking and breathe some air, you can do so along the beautiful walkways of the Fondamenta Zattere and Canale della Guidecca. Another perfect setting in Venice is the Rialto Bridge where you can take a good view of the magnificent Canal Grande. The Bridge of Sighs is another spot that offers very stunning scenery of palaces and the famed St. Marks basin. And once you get tired of walking, you can take a breather on the Café Florian. And while sipping your coffee you’ll be serenaded by sweet music playing live in the background.
