When I saw the beach in Morocco from my taxi window coming from the Airport, I was naturally happy and asked the driver if we could stop for a minute at the sea. He replied by saying: “That’s not the sea, it’s the Atlantic Ocean,”
I was amazed that the country is partly on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean at the same time.
Some advice: don’t make the same mistakes I did by not giving the country enough time.
If you’re going there, make sure to spend no less than 10 days in order to see as much as you can.
Now I’ll summarize it with good points and bad points. Of course this applies only to me, others may see it differently. I’d like to get the bad ones out of the way first.

Bad points: I didn’t like the food so much. I was expecting the type of delicious food I would find in Tunis but unfortunately it wasn’t up to my expectations. Relatively speaking, Morocco isn’t technologically advanced when compared to Tunis and is less modern but if you’re only there on vacation, it shouldn’t bother you much.

Good points: Morocco is a beautiful country with beautiful nature. It even looks a lot like a European countryside with the green forests and heavy trees. The economy is mainly based on agriculture and it’s obvious to see how much attention is paid to the nature. The weather was amazing: neither cold nor warm. Just the right temperature, letting you feel energetic and comfortable. Tourist cities like Agadir, Fes, Tamara in addition to many others need an entire trip planned for themselves in order to enjoy their beauty.
Now one other point may be considered good and bad at the same time: Everyone speaks French! My God! It was so hard to communicate even in Arabic.
But still, the people are very friendly and helpful…watch out for taxi drivers though :)
(I guess that’s a world-wide rule)
