Seville Cathedral

One of the amazing characteristics of Spanish people is their love for feasts and celebrations. This characteristic is greatly shown by the hundreds of fiestas being held each year in every town. Most of these are religious in nature, but these attract millions of tourists every year, regardless of their religion. Spain is in fact the second most-visited country in the world next to France.

Spain offers a lot for beach enthusiasts, the artistically inclined and those with passion for history and culture, but Spain also offers avenue for a lot of other fun-filled activities like hiking, white water rafting, sailing, surfing, skiing and windsurfing.

If you love the beaches, plenty of sun, sand and sangria (a Spanish wine punch), head for Costa Brava, a coastal region in the northeaster part of Catalonia, Spain. If you love the medieval atmosphere, Toledo and Cuenca are among the best places to visit. Here you can see lots of castles and old churches. If you want to savor Spain’s rich culture, artistry and festive atmosphere, you can surely enjoy your stay in Seville where museums, flamenco clubs and Gothic cathedrals and Moorish structures abound.

Madrid

If you’re looking for lots of hard-partying, you might want to go to Madrid, however, you might not want to stay here for a long time during summer and winter because it can be extremely hot or extremely cold in Madrid. Barcelona can be a better option. It also boasts its splendid Gaudi architectural structures and the finest Spanish cuisines.
