Generally, traveling to Europe this time of the year may not be a very good option, especially if you plan to go to the southern part of the continent as it is very hot in this region. This country, the largest island in Europe, is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Irish Sea. Traveling to Ireland is best from May till September as the weather is good in these months. You are sure to enjoy the view of lush country landscapes, enchanting castles and breathtaking coastlines.

If you think that Ireland is only about pristine natural sceneries, you’re wrong. It hosts a great number of festivals and celebrations from June till October as well. Among the grandest celebrations is the Galway Arts Festival (now on its 29th year), which runs from July 17 till the 30th of this month. It’s an annual arts festival, the largest and the most prestigious in Ireland, happening at the country’s “center of cultural excellence,” Galway. It showcases Irish and International performing and visual arts including dance, theatre arts, music, comedy, street art, literature and writing, and a lot more. If you want to party with friends, don’t worry, you can get a taste of Ireland’s finest cuisine and its lively night life in several restaurants, clubs, cafes and bars in Galway.
