Argentina: Where Cheap Doesn’t Mean Less

Argentina

Traveling need not be expensive. Surely, there are several places in the world that are yet to be discovered, explored, and enjoyed; more often than not, they are the ones that give you the best at the least expense. There are many beautiful travel destinations, too, that are often overlooked because we always think of the grand and the popular.

So, you want to try something inexpensive, unique and unusual this time? Head for Argentina!

Argentina is the eighth largest country in the world and the second in South America. Just as large as the area it occupies is the variety of its places of interest, people and culture. It is considered the most European country outside Europe because of its European roots that greatly influenced its lifestyle.

If you are seeking for European-class cuisine—be it Spanish Italian, German or French—this place has the best and the cheapest to offer! By cheap of course, I don’t mean low-class or anything that won’t please your taste buds. With Argentina’s huge European influences, you are sure to experience in Argentina highly European festive mood and lifestyle but then again, expect to spend less. Almost everything in Argentina is very affordable (due to the devaluation of Argentine peso)—from food to drinks, hotel rooms, transportation, and recreation.

Where to go? Among its most popular tourist destinations are Cueva de las Manos (Cave of the Hands) in Rio Pinturas, Igazu National Park, Peninsula Valdes, and Mt. Aconcagua.
