Karlovy Vary, a place to relax

Hot Spring Colonnade in Karlovy Vary

A few years ago, i traveled around Europe for a couple of weeks and i loved it!
One the places that really took my breath away, was the Czech Republic.
Now to be specific, there is one place in particular that i thought was great, and perfect for relaxation; Karlovy Vary.
Karlovy Vary, or Karlsbad is the most famous Bohemian spa, with its 13 main and about 300 smaller springs. Its name comes from the Bohemian king Charles IV who allegedly found the springs in 1358 during a hunting trip.

Three rivers run through Karlovy Vary, Teplá, Ohře and Rolava. It is surrounded by high mountains from all sides.
It is a great place to spend some quite time, enjoy the spring water whether for drinking or for spa treatment. The food is also fantastic! It is heart-warming & comforting, and that is a feature of Czech food.
Although Karlovy Vary appears to be small city, but there are hundreds of things to do. You can shop for traditional Czech or Karlovy Vary specialties, visit the famous City Theater, take a stroll in the Japanese rock garden, hike through the surrounding forests or you can visit the city museum.
It is never boring to be in Karlovy Vary, i certainly can't wait till my next vacation comes up, i really want to go there again, really!
