The Willamette Valley is the heart of Oregon. It is nestled between the Coastal and Cascade Mountain Ranges and it takes its name from the river that flows through it.
Farms in this valley grow everything from fruit, nuts and Christmas trees to flowers and grapes.
College towns such as Corvallis and Eugene are a perfect destination for bikers & hikers; flat terrain and paved paths are the best way to explore the hospitable towns.

Celebrations and festivals are unmissable attractions; the Corvallis Fall Festival in September, there are art & craft booths that offer jewelry, photography, ceramics and metal work. There is also the Mollala Apple Festival in October, there is live music, historic tours, and for those with a sweet tooth, all types of yummy apple treats, caramel, pie, ice-cream and cider.
Willamette Valley is the place to be for those who like the simple, calm life in a most beautiful natural surrounding.
