Since ancient times Yemen has enchanted travelers, merchants, philosophers and kings with its hidden secrets and wealth, and has lived up to the meaning of its name; Blessings and Prosperity.
The climate in Yemen is obvious; there are no distinctive limits between the seasons. There are two main seasons (summer and winter). During summer the climate is hot with high humidity dominating in the coastal area. In winter the climate in the coastal area is relatively moderate.
Here is a glimpse of the treasures of Yemen, and the best places the must be seen when in the land of Sheba:

Sanaa, the capitol, one of the oldest urban settlements of mankind, probably founded by Sam - son of Noah. Was declared a ‘World Heritage Site for Mankind’.
Al Raoudah, literally the garden city of Sanaa. It is famous for its interesting architecture
and rural clay houses made in the Sanaa style. Its vineyards and every Sunday market are a treat for the travelers.
The Hadhramut Valley was called ‘The Holy Land’ in ancient times.
Many graves from pre-Islamic prophets like Hud/Eber and other saints still reflect those times.

Aden/Adan, an urban settlement since ancient times, was founded by Cain and Abel. A Visit to the impressive ancient cisterns, "The Tanks", the palace of the sultan, the Aideroos-mosque, the house of Rimbaud, the Tawahi quarter, the Gold Mohur coast and the market are a must.

Marib is the former capital of the ancient empire of the Queen of Sheba. To go back in time to the ancient times, you must visit the old city, the temples, and the remains of the 3000-year-old dam.
As for accommodation, there are a few big, well-known hotels in Yemen:
Sanaa - Sheraton Hotel, Aden - Mövenpick Hotel, Taiz - Marib Hotel, Hodeidah - Ambassador Hotel and Bristol Hotel.
hi, i'm the first person here, (and probably the last), and i am originally from yemen!
hannah,
you have a nice country with rich history but its a shame that the government is not doing that much to progress it. My uncle used to live in yemen, he said that there are many historical places that are not well taken care off.
Yemen is a beautifull country and the evidance is the foreigners who like to vist. they call yemen the worlds biggest natural museum and am proud of that. but on the other hand , Yemen is called theland of all Arab or the routes of every Arab coz every Arab is From Originally from Yemen due to imigrates that started from Yemen to all other countries.
THATS PROBABLY CORRECT YEMEN IS THE BASE OF ARABIA AND PREVIOUSLY IT WAS THE GREATEST COUNTRY AT THE AGE OF BALQUEES ARWA BEFORE AND AFTER ISLAM AS WELL AS YEMEN IS FAMOUS IN COFFEE GRAPES GULF OF ADEN BAB ELMANDAB AND DAZZLING CITIES WHICH IS UNBELIEVBLE WITH ITS HISTORY AND SCENES WHICH CANNOT CREATE IT EXCEPT ALLAH.THIS IS JUST NOTHING ABOUT THE COUNTRY WHICH IS FULL OF LEGENDS.
