Dubai is simply a magical city in the United Arab Emirates and you just cannot express its beauty. Words are not enough to show you Dubai's magic, once you're there you are lost with all the entertainment. Its very live at night and the atmosphere is incredible. It has festivals at different times of the year. Like in summer there's the summer surprises and the shopping festival and best of all, in my opinion is the global village. It combines all countries around the world together and each country is a a little village that gets the opportunity to show their culture and sell their things. People from all over the globe come and visit and that’s why the logo is "one world one family"...
There is also "The palm" which is an island that is shaped like a palm in the sea and you can buy houses there and it is known to be one of the eight wonders of the world. You can also visit Burj al Arab which is the world's tallest hotel and also Burj Dubai which is going to be the world's tallest tower. Apart from these facts Dubai has wonderful places to visit like Wild Wadi an incredible water park, al marsa which is an amazing place with coffee shops near the sea, mercato mall (also other malls with first-class shopping facilities) and many many more. Not to mention of course the beaches there and the best hotels like Burj al arab, Mina a'salam (which you might be familiar with from Miss Lebanon), Grand hyatt and many other luxurious hotels.
Dubai is such a breath-taking city, its impossible to describe it unless u see it and believe it yourself. It’s hard to predict how it will become in the future because it so full of surprises and new things happening that you don’t know what’s coming next. I love it so much and im so thankful to be living there and wouldn't trade the world for it. I'm proud of my country the UAE and having Dubai in it and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Visit Dubai and it will greet you with a warm smile.

Hey ive only been to dubai a few times and didn't stay long there - but i really want to go and see many things there it is an amazing place. I especially want to go to GITEX in dubai and want to see the shops. Being from the gulf, dubai is really good at promoting our area for more than just oil and money.

I was born there and stayed there for 18 yrs, now i relocated to the states and I miss it so much,,,U cant imagine how much I love the emirates, last time I visited was in 2002, I swear I felt like kissing the floor when my plane arrived there!! I love love love it there

OK that's fine and very good yeas dubai is one of the best cities in the gulf area but let us be resonable is the civilaztion only stone building and shops every where and that is it in the same time we import the small needle to planes ships and so on common this is wrong path people needs strong economy factories and only factories this is really the power of the east and west I think the best example in the arab world is the industrail cities of jubail of saudi Arabia this is what we need other story is man power who should be in the hand of native people
I live in the states now and every time I talk to American people and tell them I'm from Dubai, they are amazed and are open wide listening to what I'm saying because its very known and loved by many local and non local people!
We have a TV channel called ( Travel Channel) it talks about the top places in the WORLD to travel and have fun but not only for fun, it talks about how to invest money and about financial issues and many times they recommended Dubai as a civilized city and how its rapidly growing!!! this have to do with being opened minded to other cultures and ideas!!!

In my opinion Dubai seems to be one of the few countries in the Middle East that is combining the good econcomic technichs of the west with our beautiful Arab culture and making it work. I've never been there but I would love to go because it sounds like an amazing place. You shouldn't diss it just because you don't like how sucessful it is. I think we should actually all be proud of any Arab country that has a strong economy and still preserves the Arab culture.
I was only overnight in Dubai on the way to Toronto. I love the city already. Its a beatiful mix of traditional Arab culture and western facilities- People are tolerant and above all its a place where You can enjoy the Arabian moon in desert-- You can go back many many years ago-when Arab used to walk with camels in such a magnificent desert land -God have an especial eye on all the Arab penisula.You will admire this palce if you have just little imagination.
