Located seven kilometers from the town of Nerja and probably one of the prettiest white villages in Costa del Sol, Frigiliana retains a lot of the character and charm of life in Andalusia many years ago.
Windy and steep cobbled streets with whitewashed houses, the people here seem to take a lot of care and pride in where they live, with the ladies mopping the street outside there homes everyday.
Hanging baskets and plants in pots from terraces make it a great place for photographs and a romantic place for lovers. There are bars and restaurants hidden away around corners and at the top of steep hills.
Frigiliana is a very old village with lots of history, the Arabs made soap here, the Romans came and went, honey was famous here and the local wine is very intoxicating.
The picture makes it look very clean, historical and beautiful.
