Sony Ericsson Declares $317 Million Q4 Loss

Crisis is hitting hard for Sony Ericsson! The company which will soon be fully owned by Sony Corp. has declared a $317 million loss over the fourth quarter of 2011! This is before taxes. Well, it’s a massive loss that will definitely shake up the company.
The company bosses attributed these losses to several factors. Their press release states, “intense competition, price erosion and restructuring charges results impacted by unfavorable macro economic conditions and effects from the flooding in Thailand.”
Sony Ericsson Nozomi Photo Leaked!

A new photo of the rumored Sony Ericsson Nozomi handset proves that this handset is definitely worth watching out for! The photo which showed up on a Chinese forum shows a beautiful-looking phone. It features a streamlined design that kind of reminds me of the iPhone.
But even though there’s a new leaked photo, there are no additional specs revealed regarding it.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD Coming Soon?

Well, well, Sony Ericsson hasn’t given up the race yet. In fact, this handset maker is prepping its latest flagship phone the rumored Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD codename Nozomi LT26i. This handset will reportedly have a massive 4.5-inch screen with a very high 1280 x 720p resolution and pixel density of 320dpi.
And aside from that it will have a dual-core processor. The first for Sony Ericsson! It will have the dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It’s going to be an Android-based handset by the way; most likely to ship with Ice Cream Sandwich.

Google’s next-generation Android operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich, is slated for an October or November release according to a recent statement by Google chairman Eric Schmidt. By the way, it going to be sold globally as well when the time comes.
What does the Sony Ericsson Nozomi have to offer? From the looks of things, it is going to be one fast smartphone with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. Storage will come in the form of a 32GB internal memory. Bad news though it won’t have a microSD card slot. But it could still change before the phone gets released.

This latest rumor about the PlayStation Phone’s unveiling in December came from NowhereElse, a French blog. They were able to acquire an unexpected invitation to an exclusive Sony Ericsson event in France on December 9 at 8pm. The invitation was sent by Sony Ericsson’s French CEO Pierre Perron.
Sony Ericsson to Unveil PlayStation Phone in February?

The world is completely puzzled about the rumored PlayStation Phone and the Xperia X12 ANZU. Are these two really in the production stage now? In a recent interview with Wall Street Journal, Sony Ericsson CEO Bert Nordberg played up the mystery even more regarding these products.
