After some months of silence Research In Motion (RIM) makes noise again with the announcement of the latest Blackberry Pearl 8120 handset. This new cell phone is the successor of the Pearl 8100.

UAE residents can now also rejoice because RIM together with UAE telco Etisalat will be launching the Arab version of the Blackberry! The Arab version is called Blackberry 8700g. As an Arab model it also features Arabic interface with support for Arabic text input. Arabic users will be able to find it so much easier to access and browse Arabic websites and make Arabic emails. They can also provide Arabic text for the so-called personal information management (PIM) applications.
