The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be on next month. Participating companies are already getting all their new products ready for the event. This OS that has been in the works for almost for four years now is mainly geared up for mobile internet. Palm’s executive chairman, Jon Rubinstein, stated that in the next 10 years they see majority of the people will switch from notebooks to mobile computing and so, they want to be there when that happens.

Highlighting the difference is the fact that it makes use of GNU/Linux. Operating the device seems not difficult at all because it has built-in core software that’s meant for recording contacts, dialing, and SMS.
