Is thin still in? Samsung certainly believes so. Proof of this is the newest LCD panel it unveiled on Wednesday. Measuring just 3.9-inches, the 40-inch Full HD is now the thinnest LCD panel in the world! Just imagine, this LCD is 2mm thinner than the standard #2 pencil. This latest entertainment device is even fondly nicknamed “Needle Thin LCD.” With the size it has, it’s not surprising. It would be great to own this baby and be able to display it in the living room.

I’m not so sure if you’ll be glad to know that there’s another fashion phone that’s just waiting to tempt you. The new GT-V7650, also known as the Giorgio Armani Samsung phone, aims to complement the smart suits that the fashion house is known for. The great Giorgio Armani himself was present at the launch of this new handset. Since it is a designer phone, expect its price tag to be on a higher level as well. Samsung has revealed its latest handset under the Instinct Series. The new Samsung Instinct HD M850 is a great improvement on its predecessor the Instinct M800. My sister recently upgraded her phone. Her choice was the Samsung G400, I must say it’s a very stylish phone. However, if she waited she could just upgrade to this new Samsung B7330 Omnia PRO handset! This is the successor of the relatively-new B7320 Omnia PRO. As the newer model, the B7330 has new features. If I’m right it is the first U.S. phone to have the highest camera pixel count… 8-megapixels! What makes its camera even more amazing are the Xenon flash, CMOS auto-focus, and face-smile detection technology.

The annual Consumer Electronic Show is certainly the event where innovations make their debut. Aside from notebooks and other portable devices, HDTVs also made their mark at the show. Samsung for one took great center stage in unveiling a new line of televisions. The new range named Luxia is composed of energy-efficient high-definition televisions. Composing this new range are the Luxia 6000, 7000, and 8000 series.
