FCC recently approved the new Disney D100 handset, a cute mobile phone designed mainly for kids. It measures only 3.89 x 2.02 x 0.95 inches and comes with a Mickey Mouse answer and reject buttons and a 12-button or optional four-button keypad. Disney D100, the first self-branded Disney handset, is much simpler when it comes to technical features compared to the first two phones launched by Disney Mobile, the LG DM-L200 and the Pantech DM-P100, which had a digital camera.

Korean cell phone carrier will soon introduce Pantech Co.'s multimedia cell phone, the IM-R100. This sleek silver handset flaunts a number of high-tech features including a rotational 2-megapixel digital camera with video recorder and playback, rotational 2.2-inch 240x320-pixel LCD screen, MMS, music player that support MP3/ MPEG4/ AAC/ AAC+ files, a microSD / TransFlash card slot, and Internet/WAP browser.
