New Super Mario Bros. Wii and other Games Announced by Nintendo
The E3 2009 Conference wouldn’t be complete without announcements of new game titles. Nintendo for one has announced its upcoming game offerings for its loyal clients. New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, and Metroid are the new games to watch out for. The first one will be released in time for the holiday shopping while the other two will not be available until 2010.
Queen Elizabeth Gets a Gold-Plated Nintendo Wii

It really pays to be a royalty. I quite envy Queen Elizabeth II of England right now because she is the honoured recipient of a gold-plated Nintendo Wii. I doubt if she’ll ever take an interest to play with it. But I’m sure the young monarchs, Princes William and Harry will be very interested. With a one-of-a-kind design, for sure they’ll have a great time playing with it.
Wii MotionPlus Hitting Stores on June 8
Last July we wrote about an upcoming Nintendo Wii remote accessory called MotionPlus. We thought it’d never come for real because we’ve been waiting a long time… But, finally the long wait’s over. Nintendo announced the availability of the said accessory. The official release of the MotionPlus is on June 8. With an announced price tag of $20, it could be very well worth it, especially for gamers who want more life-like experience when toying with the Wii. Better control is given to the hands of the gamer if this accessory is attached.

Riiflex Dumbells are New Add-ons to the Wii
A friend of mine was complaining that she doesn’t get much exercise these days. Walking to work is the only form of exercise she gets everyday, which is not much since she lives a only a few blocks away from the office. So, she’s really happy when her hubby bought a Nintendo Wii.
New Nintendo DSi Comes with Camera and Music Playback

Japan’s Nintendo expands its game console business by coming up with a third model for the DS line-up. Nintendo fans will have another portable gaming device to go gaga over in the form of the DSi. By appearance this new portable DS doesn’t look all that different from its predecessor’s, however, when you look inside you’ll just be surprised. The DSi is much more advanced because it comes equipped with built-in camera, music playback, and a bigger display. Through the installed camera, players will have much more fun since they will be able to mix images, scribble on photos, and create new faces as they please. The audio player is also a neat addition to the DS’ features because players can now play any sound stored in the memory card. They can even change the speed of the sound to slow if they want to understand the audio better or, they can adjust it to a shrill pitch just to add more to the fun.
Nintendo Wii Gets New and Exciting Accessories

Nintendo really wants to be on top of the console race so it never rests in giving gamers something to make gaming experience even better than before. Wii fanatics will sure be glad of the new accessories that Nintendo presented at the E3 Media and Business Summit on Tuesday. Aside from accessories, Nintendo also announced new games for the console.
The accessories are the Wii MotionPlus accessory and the WiiSpeak microphone. Wii MotionPlus is a white, square plug-in to the Wii Remote. It is just attached at the end of the Remote and works with the installed accelerometer and sensor bar for improved motion tracking. Due to the Wii MotionPlus, the Wii Remote becomes more sensitive to any movement made by the gamer for enhanced gaming experience. The second accessory is the WiiSpeak microphone that is used for Internet voice chat with their friends who are also on the Wii. The WiiSpeak microphone is sold separately for $30.
Improved Nintendo DS Lite Onyx Black

The most viable option if you want to take your gaming with you is to go for a portable game player. What will you choose a Sony PSP or a Nintendo DS Lite? Quite a choice huh. But if you are a Nintendo fanatic, there is no other choice but the DS Lite. Here’s a treat, Amazon.com is offering the new Nintendo DS Lite Onyx Black at $129.99 only. This new device is two-thirds smaller and lighter than the original DS. It features an adjustable dual-screen to change with the different lighting conditions.
Nintendo Presents Mario Super Sluggers

The Super Mario Brothers is the oldest game I know of. If I remember it right this was the first game I learned to play on our family computer years ago. Well, Mario has his indubitable charm that is why lots of players prefer him. This may also be the reason why until now Mario is one of the big attractions among Nintendo wide array of games, especially for the Wii game console. And just yesterday, the company announced a new game title that will go in the Wii –Mario Super Sluggers.
Wii Remote to be Used in Defusing Bombs

Aside from being a gadget for entertainment, the Nintendo Wii Remote now has another use, and a very beneficial one I must say. The U.S. military has come up with the idea of using the Wii Remote for defusing bombs. The military is working on its own version of a bomb-sniffing robot which they call as the Packbot. Though this has been operated previously using a joypad, the military is looking for ways to make operation easier for the soldier manipulating it. Using the joypad does not allow the operator to concentrate fully in driving the robot, but the Wii Remote can change all that.
Nintendo Wii is a Fad!
What’s the real problem with Nintendo Wii? There’s a list of things and I’ll start with Longevity … It does not have the longevity to live very long. The technical specs just aren’t there. For one it can only output 720X480 resolution. And since flat screen TVs produce roughly 1900X1200 resolution, you have to stretch that picture three times its size, making for a very blurry and jaggy image.
Remember the people buying the Wii are not real gamers. They are going to buy it like they would buy any nostalgic device. The Wii could have been a Beanie Baby for all we care. It just so happens that the gimmicky gadget of the year is in the video game realm. This really is not a next gen system. The buzz already is the Wii is boring to play. I am not talking about newbie buzz, I am talking about year old owners who are just simply bored out of their minds with the Wii.
Nintendo Has Upcoming New DS Bundles

Christmas is just around the bend. And we know a lot of people out there are looking for just the perfect gift. The Nintendo handheld DS has been one of the well-loved products by the company and that is a fact. To satisfy gamers craving for the holidays Nintendo has declared the two new DS Lite bundles – the stylish Gold version and the sweet-looking Pink version.
New Nintendo DS Coming Soon, True?

Rumors, rumors, rumors! Yet there’s another one, this time the object is Nintendo. It says that there’s a third edition of the Nintendo DS coming up, but as to when there’s still no word. According to the rumor the new DS is already finished but Nintendo is still holding out on its release. It’s like Nintendo is playing a waiting game. The Nintendo DS Lite is still doing very well in terms of sales so it’s very likely that this third edition of the DS will be unleashed when the DS Lite’s sales have waned already.
