Nook

Though it’s already a bit late in the race, Barnes & Noble’s new electronic book reader could still capture a big percentage of e-book market. Fresh Ambiance with Dyson Air Multiplier Bladeless Fan

Dyson Air Fan

Where else on earth can you see a bladeless fan similar to this innovation by James Dyson. The Dyson Air Multiplier Bladeless Fan is a novelty! Nobody has ever designed one like it before. Hmm, I wonder where he got this bright idea from. Anyway, at first glance no one would ever take it for a fan because not only are the typical blades missing its overall design doesn’t look like any other air-generating device. It is simply made up of a tube that serves as the base and perched on top of that base is a huge hoop.

The Blood Lamp Calls for Your Blood

Blood Lamp

Unconventional, weird, and creepy, just a little bit of this last adjective, are maybe some of the best words to describe this lamp created by Mike Thompson. Labelled as the Blood Lamp, this creation calls for a bit of a sacrifice on the owner’s part if he wants it to work. Why a sacrifice? Well, the solution inside the lamp will only light up when a tablet and a few drops of blood is placed inside. I think the tablet alone won’t make it light up in any way. The user also needs to break the top of the glass first to be able to drop them in. He can use some of the shattered pieces of glass to cut himself and get blood. Ouch!

Well, well… Amazon’s Kindle e-reader just keeps getting better. A new version is now available at the company’s website for $489. It’s a stiff price but, it’s all worth it because the new Kindle DX features a much bigger screen, 9.7-inches, which is really bigger than Kindle 2’s 6-inch diagonal screen. Reading from this e-reader gives the impression that you’re reading from paper with its total footprint of 10.4-inches by 7.2-inches. The Kindle DX’s features make it great for reading newspapers, textbooks, and business documents.
