So LG may not have the best mobile phones but they have some of the best marketing ideas ever. They have created the 18 karat gold version of the LG Shine in an attempt to market the new Paramount Studios movie the ‘Iron Man’. I know it is kinda hard to draw a link between the phone and the movie –which come out May 2nd- but according to LG ‘cell phones often perform heroic feats’ just like the Iron Man.

A lot of people nowadays rely on the cell phone not only as communication device for sending text messages and handling calls but also as an entertainment gadget. If Sony Ericsson has the renowned Walkman phones, LG Electronics on the other hand specializes in camera phones with their superbly stylish LG Viewty. Aside from the fact that this handset exudes a beautiful exterior, it also delivers matchless camera functions.

You can probably recall that earlier this year LG Electronics released the LG Shine that has set mouths salivating. Made and set in a full metal body and a sliding design the LG Shine can really catch your eyes. And aside from its great façade, this LG phone also comes filled with great capabilities. There’s a good news about this multimedia phone because last Monday AT&T announced that this phone is already available exclusively on their network. One of the hottest devices that I’m sure a lot of you can’t wait to get your hands on is LG’s BH100. This device is a DVD player . . . but not just any player like the ones you have now. The BH100 is integrated with the capability to play both the Blu-ray and HD DVD discs. This device is a first and the credit goes to LG!

I'm in love with this gadget! It has to be the best media device I own. I was contemplating buying an iPod Video or Sony Playstation. But when I saw this little fella on the shelf, man did it knock the socks of the competition!
