Flickr Adds Video Upload Service

There are already many photo-sharing sites available these days, but the one that I use is Flickr. This was recommended by a friend, so now I am a non-paying member of Flickr. Though I am not a Pro member, I am glad to know that Flickr has added new service. Aside from its huge photo-sharing sharing service, video uploads are now possible as well with Flickr. But, there’s a limitation to the videos that can be uploaded. Videos must be up to 90 seconds and 150MB only.

This video capacity is a far-cry from YouTube’s, but for those who can only capture 90-second videos in their digital camera, Flickr’s video service is already enough. The mechanics of uploading a video is pretty much the same with photos, and once it’s added it will be displayed in the user’s photostream. Placing tags and privacy settings can also be done.
