HP ElitePad 900 for the Business Minded!

HP has come up with a new tablet computer aimed at busy businessmen who want to keep abreast with their business’ condition while on the go. What I’m talking about is the new HP ElitePad 900 tablet that is equipped with full Windows 8 operating system! This device will be among the first few devices to have the coveted OS when it gets released in January.
The HP ElitePad 900 will also feature Intel’s next-generation Atom processor called Clover Trail. No other detail about it was disclosed by the company. However, it’s going to have 2GB RAM and choice of 32GB or 64GB solid-state drive.
HP Unveils Super Sleek Spectre One All-in One

HP has unveiled a bunch of new computers for the market. One of the noteworthy devices in the bunch is the HP Spectre One all-in-one PC! This device is so sleek that it is only 11.5mm at its thinnest point. Furthermore, it has an ample 23-inch glass display for viewing websites and watching videos.
But take note that the HP Spectre One is not a touchscreen. There’s an accompanying wireless trackpad for that kind of touch experience though. A keyboard is also included in the box. It also doesn’t have an optical drive and no TV tuner.
New HP Ultrabooks and Sleekbooks Launched!

HP has unveiled a bunch of new computing devices. There are ultrabooks and the new variety which they call as “Sleekbooks.” Sounds like an interesting bunch doesn’t it?
The ultrabooks variety includes the high-end Envy Spectre XT which boasts a 13.3-inch 1366 x 769 pixel display. This new device is so thin it’s actually just measures 14.5mm thick and weighs 3.07 pounds! That’s so lightweight it’s ideal for carrying around. But it doesn’t have a glass body like its predecessor the Envy 14 Spectre; instead it is built with an all-metal body.
HP Officejet 150: The World’s First Mobile All-in-One Printer!

A mobile printer?! Now that’s going to make things even more convenient for people who want to be productive even when on the go! Announced on Wednesday, the new HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-In-One is dubbed as the “world’s first” mobile all-in-one.
Measuring just 13.98 x 6.95 x 3.52 inches, it is indeed quite portable. Moreover, it only weighs 6.4 lbs minus the battery and 6.9 lbs. with it.
This Officejet 150 is able to print about 500 pages of documents on a single charge of its lithium-ion battery. It has built-in wireless Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR so printing from notebooks and even smartphones is possible. It also has one USB 2.0 port, PictBridge port, and SD card slot for more connectivity convenience.
HP Unveils New Quad-Core PCs!

HP has just made its desktop lineup even more interesting with the addition of five new models bearing the fast and capable Quad Core processor from Intel! These new computing machines will prove very beneficial for users who wish to be more productive and safe from viruses and malwares.
This is possible because Intel’s 3rd generation Core processors have twice the 3-D graphics and HD media performance as the previous generation. It also offers Intel Secure Key and Intel OS guard that shield the desktops from viruses.
Revolutionary HP Z1 All-in-One Desktop Announced!

Hewlett-Packard wants to help you clear the clutter on your desk that’s why they came up with a new all-in-one desktop! It may be all-in-one but the Z1 desktop is a revolutionary piece wherein it features a snap-open design that allows users easy access to its internals! Replacing parts is made easier and more convenient with this design.
Anyway, this features a 27-inch monitor with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440. There’s alsoa standard DVD R/W present but it can be exchanged for a Blu-ray drive.
Open webOS 1.0 Coming in September! For now Enyo 2.0

HP announced late last year that webOS will continue as an open-source platform. But that time, the company did not reveal exactly when developers will be able to get their hands on the webOS. On Wednesday, HP finally revealed the date of release of the open-source platform and it’s going to happen in September 2012! Its official is going to be Open webOS 1.0.
For sure some, if not a lot, of developers are going to take that’s still too long. But HP has a very good reason for that. In the months leading to Open webOS’ official release, HP plans to make available the individual elements of webOS source code so that by the time September hits, the base will be complete.
HP Envy 14 Spectre as Premium as it Appears!

After all the teasing we finally get to see the Spectre ultrabook that HP teased about in a 30-second video last week. The Spectre is actually the latest addition to HP’s Envy line of laptops. The latest offering called HP Envy 14 Spectre is a great ultrabook that sports a 14-inch Radiance Display with 1600 x 900pixel resolution.
Under the hood of the new HP Envy 14 Spectre is a choice of Intel’s Core i5 or Core i7 ultra-low voltage processors. Consumers can also choose from 4GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB or 256GB mSATA SSDs. Users can also enjoy rapid boot and wakeup time thanks to Intel’s Rapid Start Technology. Operating system includes a choice of Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Home Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate.
HP Teases with Spectre Ultrabook Sneak Video

HP is out to attract the public to its new products! The company is really geared up for the challenge as it releases the teaser video of its new Spectre ultrabook! This ultrabook is set to make an appearance at the Consumer Electronics Show that will be held this month.
The sneak preview is exactly just that! And it doesn’t give any concrete information about the Spectre. The 30-second video mostly shows abstract figures that are likely some of the parts of the ultrabook. At the end of the video the laptop lid is shown but you can’t truly see the actual appearance of the device. HP ended their teaser video with a blast of white light and the name ‘Spectre.’
HP webOS Survives as Open Source

If you think you’ve seen the last of Hp’s webOS in the TouchPad you’re wrong! Although HP previously said that it’s ending its webOS efforts, the operating system will take on a new leash as an open source platform! This is indeed great news for developers since they will be able to fiddle with the OS free of charge!
The press release from HP stated, “HP will make the underlying code of webOS available under an open source license. Developers, partners, HP engineers and other hardware manufacturers can deliver ongoing enhancements and new versions into the marketplace.”
HP TouchPad Fire Sale on eBay on December 11!

Frustrated that you didn’t get an HP TouchPad the first time it went on a crazy sale? No worries because you’ll soon have a second chance at it! It’s going to be just four days to go in fact since the second HP Touchpad fire sale is slated for December 11 on HP’s Ebay store!
According to the reports, the 16GB HP TouchPad will be sold for $99 while the 32GB version will have a $149 price tag. These are like bargain prices again which makes it a must-not-miss opportunity! If you miss this again there’s no certainty if you’ll get a third chance again since these up-for-sale TouchPads are supposedly the last batch from HP.
Sale of the said tablet will start as early as 6:00 P.M. Central time on Ebay on December 11, Sunday.
HP Joins the Ultrabook Market with Folio 13

HP is officially in the Ultrabook market competition with the launch of the HP Folio 13. This computing device has competitive features as well as a competitive price tag! To be available on December 7, you can get this baby for $899.99!
In exchange for your hard-earned cash, what you’ll get is a device less than 18mm thin and weighs just 3.3 pounds. It boasts a 13.3-inch diagonal HD BrightView display. Users can easily make out the keys even in the dark since it has a backlit keyboard.
HP Touchpad Gets webOS Update!

Even though the HP Touchpad has been officially discontinued, the company still shows concern for those customers who were loyal enough to get the now-defunct device. HP’s concern is shown through the latest over-the-air- update provided to the Touchpad!
The new webOS 3.0.4 version released this week replaces the 3.0.2 version. And with this update comes several goodies that a lot of loyal HP Touchpad owners would surely enjoy!
HP TouchPad Go: The Tablet that Never Will Be

Some people say that it’s always nice to see the one that got away even though seeing it might cause some regret. So whether you like it or not you have to look at the HP TouchPad Go tablet that didn’t make it to the market and never will.
Even though that is the case, a former at ZoopDA managed to get his hands on one. He also claims to have been in possession of the device for three months. And based on the pictures, the device he has is a prototype.
