Spore is only a PC game, so these little monsters will only stay confined to the software. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of this game; it is scheduled to be released in September. Anyway, to bring the game closer to the public, its developers Electronic Arts (EA) and Maxis came up with the Creature Creator to attract more users to the game.
Since I don’t have a car of my own, I have to content myself with driving virtual vehicles each time the desire to drive takes me. The only racing game I know of is the one that my friends introduced me to - Need for Speed. Anyway, there is a new racing game that is up for grabs now. Some of you may not be getting enough of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. If that is so, Activision has another special treat for you. The Guitar Hero expansion track “Guitar Hero World Tour” may be the thing to give you the music excitement that you crave. This game includes a variety of new features like a Music Studio music creator for composing, recording, and editing. Once you have completed your tour de force there is a services called GHT that lets you share it with others. On top of that, some of the games songs have mixes from original recordings of bands like Linkin Park, Van Halen, Sublime, and a lot more. Isn’t that just exciting?!
Are you ready for Doom? You should be as id Software is showing indications that a 4th installment in the Doom game series is up and close. Well, it is not actually an announcement of the game release; rather, the announcement said that the company has started working on the new game. However, it is clear that the announcement is not focused on the game but on the call for talented people who can help work on the game. In short, it’s a job ad! But at least id Software is moving its butt to provide something new for their gamers.
Well, well, it seems Steven Spielberg’s genius is not confined to movies. Aside from being a movie maker, Spielberg is now also a video game creator. In partnership with Electronic Arts, Spielberg is able to come up with the Boom Blox to be played on the Nintendo Wii. This is actually the first of the three games that he will make with Electronic Arts. Now, Boom Blox is a very exciting puzzle game that would be perfect for kids and even adults like me who love puzzles. There is great challenge in building and knocking down towers and fortresses. Adding to the fun are the funny gestures of the game characters.
Grand Theft Auto 4 is really a very advanced game and the whole thing deserves respect in matters of graphics and tactics and the ability to play with 16 people at the same time and all that other gamer whiz stuff.
But and this is a very big but, the game is devoid of morals and ethics!
I was kinda’ ok with the car steeling and running over people … that’s normal in our days and we hear about it all over the news and at friends gatherings.
There’s one thing though, I think the game could have done with-out; the sex!
Prostitution on the streets, sex in cars (Yes, sex scenes) and then, Hey! Why not run over the street girls and just make street guacamole out of them!?

The Super Mario Brothers is the oldest game I know of. If I remember it right this was the first game I learned to play on our family computer years ago. Well, Mario has his indubitable charm that is why lots of players prefer him. Guitar Hero III is the hottest music game in town these days. Upon purchase of the game, users were expecting a great game experience, especially with the sound quality since it is a musical game. But then the actual gaming experience fell a bit short for those using the Wii…why? It’s because the Wii version of the game only provides monoaural sound despite the advertised Dolby Pro Logic II surround sound that comes with it.
Nintendo Wii gamers are in for disappointment with the announcement that the much-awaited game title Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be delayed to February 10 of 2008. I’m sure many have expected that this will already be out by Christmas, just in time for the holiday shopping, but due to some circumstances Nintendo has no choice but to put it off for a little while longer. But the wait will be all worth the wait according to some who had the privilege to see the playable version demonstrated at the press conference held in San Francisco and Tokyo just last week.
Today or more accurately, later on at midnight is the big day for the Halo 3. Like its predecessor Halo games, Halo 3 is also expected to take the gaming market by storm. This third and last installment of the Halo series is anticipated to exceed the sales of the Halo 2 which sold $125 million on its first 24 hours in the US market. Like other major releases, the Halo 3 will also be available at midnight in more than 10, 000 stores across the United States. These stores will sell 3 versions of the game for a price of $6, $70 and $130.
Guitar Hero III: Legend of Rock will be coming to the PC and Mac as declared by Aspyr Media last Wednesday. This is made possible through Aspyr’s collaboration with companies Activision and RedOctane. New edition of the said musical game will be developed in order to match the games that are being used in game consoles. And of course, being new editions entitles the Guitar Hero III to new features. It is going to be an action packed game with multiplayer action, battle mode, boss battles, online multiplayer mode, original artist recordings and real rock venues.
Nope this is not my life story, but when I was just a kid I remember the game Double Dragon. I’m not likely to forget this game because my brother would not let me play, and I could see that it was such a fun game to play! I remember that the dame involved a lot of knocks, punches, kick and fly-kickin’ of the enemy right down to the ground. These can only be dome If you’re a Double Dragon fan you probably remember the heroes twin brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee as they rescue Billy’s kidnapped girlfriend Marian.
