Errors right after a launch is not the way to make a great first impression but that’s exactly what happened with the Diablo 3 game! The game launched on Monday but as soon as excited gamers tried the game, they were besieged by errors preventing them from logging in and experiencing the game! The errors were so bad that some of them couldn’t even access the game for several hours!

Some of the reported errors are Error 37: login servers overloaded, Error 300, Error 75: temporary outage. And these are just some of them!

Its maker Activision Blizzard had to take immediate action to appease their disgruntled players. On Tuesday, they had to take the game offline twice in order to fix the problem!

Game developer Sega came up console with the thought that maybe they could turn urine into a game! They followed that through and out came the Toylet!

So how does Toylet work? It’s basically controlled by the user’s urine that has to be aimed at the center of the pan. Integrated sensors read the volume and speed of water passing through. This are used to regulate the accompanying five games like “Mannekin Pis,” “The Northern Wind, the Sun and Me,” “Battle! Milk From Nose” just to name some.

German Ban on Doom Lifted After 17 Years!

Doom is no longer doomed in Germany. The ban has been lifted from this first-person shooter game after 17 long years! The game made its ways to the market in 1993 but was banned in Germany in 1994 because it was considered harmful to young people by the Federal Department for Medua Harmful to Young Persons (Bundesprufstelle).

Only those above 18-years-old are allowed to own the game and they have to get it abroad since it wasn’t allowed to be sold in shops and even over the Internet.

I know lots of World of Warcraft game addicts out there are eagerly awaiting the new game expansion Cataclysm. Well this expansion won’t be launched until December 7, 2010 but, avid fans were given a glimpse of what’s in store for them yesterday October 17. Footage of the new Cataclysm was broadcast on TV during the commercial break of the NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings.

If you didn’t catch the footage yesterday, you can still watch it on YouTube. I watched it and I must say it’s quite impressive! The game developer Blizzard didn’t hold back in making Cataclysm.
