NTT DoCoMo announced that thy will be releasing new phones that will bear the motion-sensing feature. By this month DoCoMo will release two FOMA 904i series phones primarily in Japan. But these new phones will only initially have the feature for some of the games. DoCoMo hopes though that in the later part of this year the phones will have gesture sensing for map browsing, menu scrolling, and picture browsing as well as for mobile net surfing.

Lots of studies have suggested a link but with not enough evidence. However, the largest research took place in Denmark on over 420,000 people!

Nothing!
No relation to cancer whatsoever. From the 420,000 people, 14,249 had cancer and non were cell-phone related.

Disney is producing a new mobile phone especially designed for kids under 8 years old. The U.A.E is preparing to import the new gadgets which will be expected to be a big hit.
So what's special about them?
The most important thing for any parent is their kid's safety.
So the Disney mobiles will come pre-installed with content filters for net browsing and automatically switch to "vibrator" during school time, in addition to other functions such as call restriction. It isn't clear yet weather the phones can do other things like automatically disconnect long calls or bar certain numbers from calling, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
It seems that Nokia is not alone in its drive to bring pure entertainment close to the masses. The Swedish mobile maker Ericsson with its partner Japanese giant Sony, is now catching with the mobile TV concept. After a flourishing venture into the world of handset production they will now try their hand in providing solution for connecting gadgets into the world and this time through mobile TV. And aside from that, they are also thinking of broadband TV.
Because of the various technological advancements happening today, Ericsson and Sony foresees a mass market for mobile TV within two years time. With the mass market, they aim to capture at least 30% of users that regularly watch television through their cell phones. If this vision is reached, it will open up more business for the content producers and network distributors.
