If there was a cell phone that comes in two separate parts would you buy one? If your answer is yes, then, you are obligated to buy Fujitsu’s handset of the future. This company which teamed up with NTT DoCoMo of Japan recently revealed its break-apart phone concept. I’m not sure how long Fujitsu thought and planned this concept but finally they let the cat out of the bag. Instead of just a one-piece phone you will be getting a phone that is comprised of two separate pieces. One of the two halves contains the display while the second piece carries the keyboard. One of the halves is a touchscreen that offers virtual keyboard, numeric keypad, and game controller.

In the whole time that I’ve been writing about phones, it is only now that I’ve come across a wooden phone! Yes, a phone made of wood! Perhaps this is brought about by the fact that there is already PCs being made of wood and bamboo, so why not apply it to cell phones as well? This could have been the reasons of the designers Hyun Jin Yoon and Eun Hak Lee when they made the Maple Phone. When I hear about music phones what usually comes to mind is Sony Ericsson with its series of Walkman phones. But now music phones should not only be associated with this brand because Nokia has also come up with its own models of music phones – the new XpressMusic series composed of the Nokia 5320 and the Nokia 5220. These two music-enabled devices will work together with the new Nokia Music Store. These candy bar-styled phones will come with a price tag ranging from $254 to $350.

Going to the specifics of each phone the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic runs on the S60 UI Symbian platform. It has 3G/HSDPA connectivity. As a device dedicated t o music, the Nokia 5320 features external music controls, stereo Bluetooth, stereo FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. Another neat music feature of this device is the Nokia Say and Play that enables the user to control the player by means of his voice. This is also integrated with N-Gage gaming for more entertainment that is why it has an 8-way navigation keypad. Other features include the 2-inch 16M color TFT display, 2 megapixel snapper and microSD card slot for up 8GB memory. This will be available in black/blue or black/red motif.

Those designer fanatics out there might own a Giorgio Armani dress or accessory but here is something that you may never have thought of: A Girogio Armani Phone! That’s right the Korean company Samsung joined up with Giorgio Armani to create the one and only Giorgio Armani-Samsung luxury mobile. The phone comes with a 2.6 inch LCD touch screen and contains a 3.5 mega pixel camera. It weighs only 80 grams but with it you can browse the web, listen to MP3 tracks and receive files via Bluetooth.
