Sony Wireless Keypad for PS3

Sony Wireless Keypad for PS3

PlayStation gamers seem to be in a world of their own when they play. Most often stumbling over the cords could not be helped. This scenario is potentially harmful because the important devices might just get damaged. In this case, having add-ons without wires would be a welcome thing, right? You should get the Wireless Keypad that Sony introduced. It’s actually very innovative because the wireless keypad is set over the top of the Sony PS3 controller. You only use your thumbs on the full QWERTY keyboard. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

Are you becoming bored with the Internet Explorer 7? Sad to let you know that you’re going to be bored for still quite a while. Microsoft announced that the release of the next edition Internet Explorer has been moved to 2009. There’s no exact date as to when this would happen just somewhere around the first quarter. An IE 8 Beta will be released and the final release will be a bit after that. It’s barely two months before we say good bye to 2008 so, there’s really no chance the IE 8 is going to be released this year.

Google Adds Audio and Video Feature to Gmail!

Gmail video chat

Google just keeps getting better. Gmail users will be glad to know that new applications will be added to the service. Pretty soon voice and video conferencing will be available aside from the Gmail chat. To make voice and video conferencing possible, users will need to download a plug-in. Of course, your PC or laptop must have webcam access. To show that Google is serious about making video conferencing more convenient, it has teamed up with Logitech and Buy.com to offer up to 30% discounts on cameras! Aside from the discounts, free shipping is also offered. All these are only until Nov. 30.

Based on the article I read, using the new app seems easy. If you already have the plug in, just click on the “video and more” link that’s inside the chat window, then, choose the start video/voice chat. A ring will be heard at the other end and the person will just have to choose whether to ignore or accept the call. I think it’s a pretty neat and straightforward process.

Have you ever injured yourself while trying to unwrap a package? I never have and I thought no one has either. But I guess I was wrong. It has only come to my knowledge that there is such a thing as “wrap rage”. This term was used by Amazon.com’s CEO Jeff Bezos when he unveiled the company’s newest initiative “Frustration-Free Packaging”. According to him, “Wrap rage describes the frustration we humans feel when trying to free a product from a nearly impregnable package”. Hence, to avoid this frustration, Amazon has come up with the scheme “Frustration-Free Packaging”.
