Samsung and Apple

Disputing companies Apple and Samsung were ordered by the court to have a face-to-face meeting this month. And that meeting has already transpired this week. But did the two come to an agreeable resolution to their problem? The answer to that is a big NO!

Represented by Choi Gee-sung for Samsung and Tim Cook for Apple, neither company was willing to admit it did something wrong. The first meeting that was held on Monday lasted for nine hours but in that entire the company leaders just kept going back and forth with their arguments. No resolution or meeting halfway happened. It was the same on the second day of meeting on Tuesday though they consumed seven hours talking!

Korea Times newspaper reported that Apple kept insisting Samsung copied the design of its various products while Samsung asserted that Apple should pay them royalties for using its wireless transmission technology.

Samsung and Apple declined to comment about this recent development. And now, since there’s no amicable resolution to their problem, both companies will be taking their cases to trial.
