Hewlett-Packard wants to help you clear the clutter on your desk that’s why they came up with a new all-in-one desktop! It may be all-in-one but the Z1 desktop is a revolutionary piece wherein it features a snap-open design that allows users easy access to its internals! Replacing parts is made easier and more convenient with this design.
Anyway, this features a 27-inch monitor with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440. There’s alsoa standard DVD R/W present but it can be exchanged for a Blu-ray drive.
HP’s Z1 is intended as a professional workstation hence it comes with high-end under-the-hood specs. Actually there are several options available in terms of processor; it all depends on your budget. The most affordable option is the dual-core Intel Core i3 paired with Intel HD graphics 2000; next to that is the quad-core Intel Xeon E3-124 matched with Intel HD Graphics 3000 and the most high-end of all is the Intel Xeon E3-1280 processor! This last option has 3.5 GHZ cores and 8MB cache.
There are several graphics options that HP is offering as well like the Nvidia Q500M GPU, Q1000M and the Q3000M. If the users intend it for demanding 3D tasks, the Nvidia Q4000M GPU is the best option.
HP’s new Z1 all-in-one PC will be available in April of this year. But brace yourself for the price, basic configuration starts at $1899!
