New Gorilla Glass Multitouch Keyboard Looks Awesome!

Touch technology is now present in smartphones, laptops, and monitors. Should we be surprised if it extends to other computer paraphernalia? Not really. So the new Glass Multitouch Keyboard shown at the recently held CES 2012 doesn’t come as much of a surprise.
Designed and made by Jason Giddings of Giddings Product Development, the new Glass Multitouch Keyboard is an awesome piece of technology! Its crystal-clear clear- slab Gorilla Glass 2 surface would look great next to your high-end monitor!
This awesome keyboard uses a frustrated total internal reflection (FTIR) technology that enables it to recognize touch feedback across its surface, which by the way measures 19 inches. It also features QWERTY keys across. Bluetooth and USB connectivity, built-in speakers and custom layouts are also found in the keyboard. It will be compatible with both Windows and Mac OS.
How soon can we have it? According to reports it will be commercially available later this year. There’s no word on the price yet too.
The Glass Multitouch Keyboard is so attractive, I want one!

Looks awesome but I'd hope it would have something to give you some tactile feedback so that you can touch type more easily. Perfectly smooth surfaces do not give you the feedbackyou need for fast touch typing. You cant tell if your centered on each key. I discovered this with my laser projection keyboard. Very futuristic and worked well but without the tactile feedback, it was easy to get out of sync with your finger/key position. Regardless, I do want one, with Bluetooth of course! :)
