China-Bound Motorola MT917 is impressive!
The Motorola Droid RAZR is an amazing handset no doubt about that! But now, it seems there could be something better than it! It’s also a handset by Motorola called the Motorola MT917 which is bound for China.
It’s actually an unimpressive name for a seemingly impressive phone! The Motorola MT917 looks quite similar to the Droid RAZR but if you look closely there are distinct differences like the bigger screen. MT917 has a 4.5-inch display with a higher resolution of 1280 x 720-pixels! Surely that delivers even better browsing experience.
In addition, Motorola MT917 has a 13-megapizel camera! That’s five pixels more than the Droid RAZR’s! And another difference is the custom TD-SCDMA 3G radio feature that only works in China.
Since some features are bigger in the MT917, the device is also a bit thicker at 8.5mm. But it is still protected by durable KEVLAR fiber and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. It also has zinc frame and splash guard coating inside and out. The Motorola MT917 is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Do you think this Motorola MT917 handset is impressive? It’s just too bad though that there’s no word whether it will head to the United States or other countries or not. It will launch in China by mid-December. Price is still unknown.
