It?s official! Sony will unveil its newest masterpiece that gamers and phone enthusiasts will surely love: the Sony Ericson Z1 PlayStation Phone Zeus or Sony Z1. Sony has announced that it will be available in the market in February or March this year. First of its kind, the Sony Z1 allows its users to enjoy ultimate gaming, voice calling and text messaging?and not to mention the internet?with ease and convenience. That is all made possible only by Sony!
The PlayStation Phone Zeus comes in a landscape slider with the PSP buttons at the bottom half. As alternative for joystick, the device has a long touch pad for analog controls. Users of this gadget will definitely enjoy its expected 3.7 to 4.1 inch touchscreen as this means wider and clearer visual display.
Sources close to Sony cited that the PlayStation phone Zeus runs Android 3.0 application or Gingerbread. It features a 1Ghz QUALCOMM MSM 8655 processor, 512 MB of RAM and 1 GB of ROM. The device also comes with a 5 megapixel camera that will capture your precious moments. Sure, this is not the finest camera, but who cares since the Sony Z1 will be used mainly for gaming and communicating.
The product?s pricing isn?t announced up to this time. Rumors say it will be in the $500 range, though.
