If you had been impressed of how user-friendly and comprehensive Windows 7 is, wait until you have installed the Windows 8 in your personal computer! It is the newest operating system from Microsoft and since they have just actually launched the Windows 7 in 2009, you might start wondering what was wrong with the 7th version? Nothing was wrong, it is just that the company is trying to figure out the most convenient and comprehensive operating system to match the fast paced technology, as well as the demands of its users.

Windows 8 soon? what are your sources?
1) A Microsoft rep has stated that they'll start to focus their resources on windows 8 around July 2010, so its still in the early stages, and
2) It has been shown in many webpages a leaked image of microsoft's roadmap, showing windows 8 to be released around end of 2012... so thats about 2.5 years.... not 'soon'.
I'm a user of windows 7 ultimate now.
Best of luck & waiting for windows 8.
i heard about this a few weeks ago, it is someone who is working at Microsoft who first posted a blog entry about windows 8 then the post was deleted or something!
I have windows 7 professional and my favorite thing is that if I want to play a game only compatable with XP it will act like it so I can play the game. I wonder how windows 8 will be like?
well Windows Se\7en fan , you're doing better than me, as i have given up on compatibility mode in Win7x64ultimate and settled for dual boot & my 32-bit XP games (BF2.exe). Perhaps my new hardware build will work as some have reported success. ;(
good for you!
i use windows 7 enterprise
Since when releasing Windows OS has been like video games ? every 2 years new Windows ? wtf's matter with Microsoft ?
it will come out soon because its basically win 7. Just like vista is win7. they really need to drop the dos x86 kernel and move to a unix/linux kernel. there is no way MS can compete with its out dated OS.
I was just going to say that. LIKE. lol
I think it's not coming anytime soon, I hope not because I'm still using XP. I will feel more outdated.
Competition is good. I'd say, keep it rollin'.
