Nokia Recalls Faulty Chargers

Recalls aren’t only applicable to laptops and cars; it is also applicable to chargers! Yup, listen up Nokia users. You might be one of the people who will be affected by the charger recall that the cellphone maker has issued. According to Nokia, a limited number of cellphone chargers could cause electric shock to the users. This could happen because the plastic covers on the affected chargers could separate and expose its internal parts. These parts are conductors so there is a big chance that the user will really get the shock of his life!

The Nokia chargers in question here are those produced by Chinese supplier BYD, specifically the model types AC-3U, AC-3E, and AC-4U produced on October 25, 2009. Better take a look at your charger and see if yours is affected.

Affected users don’t have any problem because Nokia is issuing a replacement all for free!
