I’m all for Twitter; however I’m not a really avid user because I find it cumbersome sometimes. There are so many updates to go through before I can find the update that a particular person made. I think Twitter heard my sentiment, and probably, of a lot of users too because it has rolled out the biggest update of date. This update is the Twitter Lists that enables users to consolidate their contacts into groups. Through this grouping, a user can easily find the updates he’s looking for. Just click on the group name and voila! updates will immediately show up!
Lists: Twitter’s Latest and Biggest Update
Depending on the user’s preference, the group can be made public or private. And, subscription can be made by group and not individually. However, Twitter did not give a step-by-step instruction on how to add people to the Twitter Lists. Even though this is the case, I’m sure Twitter users won’t have a hard time getting the hang of it.
It’s a great change if I may say so. It gets rid of the hassle of having to swim through various updates that I do not want to read about! At this time, Twitter Lists is still on its beta stage. When it was first released on Oct. 28, it was only available to about 25% of users; but recent reports say that it is now appearing to more of the Twitter population.
So, have you checked out this latest feature? Lets!
