Though it’s already a bit late in the race, Barnes & Noble’s new electronic book reader could still capture a big percentage of e-book market. Dubbed as “Nook” this device doesn’t only make it possible for users to read e-books at their convenience, but also allows them to share the fun with their friends. Yup, this is the major attraction that Barnes and Noble hopes would captivate potential customers. Users can lend their choice of books to their friends up to 14 days! Who wouldn’t love that?

And the great thing about the “nook” doesn’t stop there. It also features a gray-scale E Ink screen that is matched with a separate color touch screen located just below the E Ink display.

The “Nook” also comes with 3G and Wi-Fi access for easy e-book downloading. With a $259 price tag, Barnes & Noble’s Nook will give Amazon Kindle and Sony Reader a run for their money!
