Looking for an entry-level DSLR? Well, there’s no need to look far because Pentax has just released the camera that will fit your needs. Although the Pentax K-x is dubbed as an entry-level DSLR, its features belie that. Pentax K-x proudly features a 12.4-megapixel CMOS sensor that has in-body Shake Reduction. This means less blur when the user has unsteady hand s. It allows image stabilization for up to 4.7 fps of continuous shots. Other exciting offerings of the Pentax K-x are its live view and HD video capability.

Live View is possible through the 2.7-inch LCD. This LCD also provides contrast, phase difference, and Face Detection autofocus. It has ISO sensitivity ranging from 100 to 12,800. The HD Video capability on the other hand has 720p resolution or 1280 x 720 at 24fps. This camera also comes with PENTAX 35mm lens and an 11 point wide angle SAFOX VIII autofocus system.

The new Pentax K-x comes with a lens kit for $650 price tag. Good news is, it will be available in four colors – black, white, limited red and navy editions.
