Dell Takes Over Perot Systems

Dell and Perot Systems

Dell is expanding. It recently announced that it is going to buy IT services provider Perot Systems in a $3.9 billion deal. The whole takeover is hoped to get finalized between November and January. When the two finally combine their services, they will be able to deliver a more extensive range of services and solution in information technology. It’s a known fact that Dell has a wide range of customer reach with its broad range of PCs, laptops, and notebooks, so when Perot becomes a division of Dell, it will be able to deliver its services to more people, particularly Dell users.

Perot Systems is a company that provides IT services and business solutions to healthcare, government, banking, and insurance agencies. It was founded by Ross Perot who ran for US President twice.

Anyway, the two companies are glad of this undertaking. According to Michael Dell, “This significantly expands Dell’s enterprise-solutions capabilities and makes Perot Systems’ strengths available to even more customers around the world.”

Mr. Perot of Perot Systems also said that the takeover was an excellent thing for his company.
