Lenovo Reveals Laptops with Multitouch Feature

Lenovo ThinkPad T400s

At last, after a long period of silence, Lenovo has something new to offer. The computer maker announced on Tuesday the availability of new laptops and, take note of this, a new and exciting feature to go with them! Lenovo is advancing its laptop offerings by integrating a multitouch input in them. This is the software that allows navigation by using not just two fingers but up to four! Lenovo hopes that this feature will make it easier for users to accomplish whatever it is they are working on in the laptop. The first Lenovo model to have this feature is the Windows 7 ThinkPad T400s.

This ThinkPad T400s features a 14.1-inch touchscreen in order for the multitouch feature to be comprehensive. This laptop is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors that run either 2,4GHz or 2,5GHz with 6MB of cache. This is matched with Intel graphics. It has 4GB memory and 250GB of storage. Connectivity includes 802.11 b/g/n wireless networking. A webcam also comes with the device. Thinkpad T400s has a starting price of $1,199.

Another laptop that has a touchscreen feature is the ThinkPad X200 laptop. But, unlike the T400s, this one only accommodates two-finger touch. This particular Lenovo laptop is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo chip that has up to 6MB cache. This model has a $1,654 starting price.
