Palm Pre has a sibling! It’s only right that we should welcome this latest addition to the Palm family that has webOS, right? The all-new Palm Pixi is a smaller version of the Pre, but it’s no less attractive! The Palm Pixi features a candy bar design that has a small 2.63-inch 320 x 400 display. Its keypad is located right in front, unlike the Palm Pre with its slide-out keyboard. It also has a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash for taking those impromptu pictures. It has 8GB of memory where that user can store pictures, as well as downloaded music and videos.
Welcome the Attractive and Capable Palm Pixi
Like the Palm Pre, Pixi operates using the webOS platform. This means that the user can do a lot of things with it like accessing the Palm Synergy where the user can access almost all of his online data including Facebook, Yahoo! and LinkedIn. Then there’s also the App Catalog where the user can download various apps straight to his phone.
The Pixi seems like a great phone; however, the fact that it doesn’t have Wi-Fi may be disappointing to some. It does have 3G EV-Do REV A. It also comes with GPS and Bluetooth wireless technology, and a whole lot of other great features.
Palm Pixi will be available from Sprint, though the exact date of availability has not been set yet. It could be in time for the holiday shopping!
