Have you read about the new Canon EOS 7D camera? Bits and pieces of information about this photography device have been circulating around the net for weeks now. Well, if you haven’t had time to catch up on it here’s the gist of it. The Canon EOS 7D digital SLR is a high-end device that’s intended for advanced amateur photographers and professionals. Yes, this new digital SLR camera is that great because it’s equipped with a 19-point autofocus system, 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that can shoot up to 18 frames per second. It can also capture 1080p 24fps HD video using full manual control.
The new Canon EOS 7D is even equipped with dual DIGIC 4 processors that make it possible to capture 8 fps. The 150,000 cycle rotary magnet shutter is also present to match the continuous shooting capability. At the back of the camera is a 3-inch LCD as well as a 100% coverage viewfinder designed with a 1.0x magnification. Switching between live view and video record mode can be easily done using the toggle installed at the upper right portion of the LCD.
It’s hard to put the Canon EOS 7D’s full capability into words. It must be experienced in order to know what it’s really capable of. This camera will be out in late October with a $799 price tag.
