Nokia Booklet 3G Netbook

Wow! Nokia has taken its undertakings a notch higher with the announcement of its new Booklet 3G netbook. Never thought you’d see the day huh? Nokia is serious in its effort to conquer the netbook market with its highly-capable Windows-based device. The Booklet 3G is a nice-looking device with an aluminium case, 1.25kg weight, 2cm thickness, and 10-inch HD-capable display. And based on the titbits that Nokia has revealed about its new netbook, the device boasts 12-hour battery life, which is very beneficial for people who are always on the go.

Wait! There’s more. It is also equipped with a webcam and a card reader. One vital thing that consumers look into when it comes to netbooks is the connectivity. Users won’t have any problem in this department because the netbook has 3G/HSPA. It also comes with GPS and HDMI.

By now you might be saying, is that all? What sets the Booklet 3G apart from the many netbooks available in the market today? It has an internal mobile broadband card with a SIM slot. This feature makes the Booklet 3G a “natural extension to Nokia’s traditional phone handset product range,” as what analyst Ian Fogg said on his blog.

The official release of this netbook is on September 2. Pricing and other specs will be announced then.

Do you think this netbook is a wonderful surprise or what?
