Samsung has come up with a new first and that is the digital camera with 2 LCD screens. Surprised? Maybe not. The new Samsung TL225 and the TL220 are the two models that have 1.5-inch front display. You might be asking why the company decided adding another screen. Well it’s placed there to make taking self-portraits easier. It’s indeed very handy especially when there’s nobody around to take your picture.

The cameras have smile detection technology, so once you smile the front LCD automatically detects it and zooms in to take your picture. Another great benefit of the front LCD is that it can be set to a child mode where a cartoon appears to attract a child’s attention so that the resulting image would be a great one.

Aside from the shared 1.5-inch front display, both the TL225 and TL220 are equipped with 4.6X digital zoom lenses and tactile-feedback rear touchscreen. Both of them are 12.2-megapixel cameras that are able to capture amazingly colourful and crisp shots. They can also work as video recorders. However, these two cameras differ in the touchscreen LCDs at the back. The TL225 has 3.5-inch while the TL220 has 3-inch screen.

Now for the price, the TL225 costs $350 while the TL220 costs $300.
