Tuesday is a big day for the Xbox 360 game console because a LIVE dashboard update was launched. Xbox gamers can look forward to a lot of goodies thanks to this update. All the contents covered by the update are aimed to make gaming even better than before. One of the nice goodies that come with the LIVE dashboard is “Games on Demand.” Through this update, gamers can download and store games on the console or an external hard drive. The best thing about Games on Demand is that it allows gamers to access their accounts from any Xbox console. Even if it’s not really their own they can still play their previously downloaded games. This is quite nice; makes it more flexible.

Some improvements have also been made on the Netflix feature. It now has a Party Watch that allows users, in different locations, to message or chat with each other while watching contents downloaded from Netflix. Users can also easily search for content through the enhanced user interface. Streaming TV shows and movies can be done directly from the Xbox; a PC is no longer necessary as long as there’s internet connection.

A new Avatar Marketplace has also been set up. Users can purchase clothes from fashion labels and games and use them to make their avatars look more in style. Although, there’s still no word on how much these merchandise will cost.
