July 20, 2009 will mark the 40th anniversary of man’s successful landing on the moon. Wow! It’s really been 40 years since then? History says so. In keeping with the anniversary celebration, Motorola has launched the Motorola Aura Celestial Edition. The Aura Celestial Edition is basically just like the original Aura, with a few add-ons. One of the things that make it a great commemorative gadget is its oval-shaped screen, which of course looks like the moon.
Aside from this screen, the Aura Celestial Edition also contains pre-installed extras that still pertain to man’s successful landing on the moon. These goodies include some video footage of the original landing. And remember the famous line that Neil Armstrong spoke when he was on the moon? Well, the line “That’s one step for man, one giant leap for mankind” is also going to be included in the audio extras.
There’s still no word on the price. But, even if it’s a bit expensive it’ll be a great pride to own such a device, right?
