HP Mini 5101 Targets Professionals

HP Mini 5101

HP recently launched a netbook that’s intended for professionals looking for the perfect computing companion. The model I’m referring to is the HP Mini 5010 netbook. Looks and performance are two factors you needn’t worry about in the Mini 5101 because it has it all. Sleek and durable at the same time, the 5101 is made of anodized aluminum with black brushed finish. The aluminum composition makes it tougher than other netbooks that are made of plastic. Adding to its stylish look is the magnesium alloy with rubberized feel at the bottom part and its palm rest.

The HP Mini 5101 is a great computing companion for professionals because of its great specs. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch WSVGA 1024 x 600 LED screen. There’s also an option of a 10.1-inch HD 1366 x 768 LED screen. Customers can also choose either from an 80GB or 128GB SSD and a 4-cell or 6-cell battery.

Standard features of the new netbook are the 7200rpm HDD, WLAN 802.11/b/g/n, and a 2-megapixel webcam. All its operations are anchored on an Intel Atom processor, which uses less power enabling netbook to run cooler. It also has full-size QWERTY keyboard for easier typing.

However, the HP Mini 5101 is a bit pricey with a $449 starting price.
