One of t he most raved about handset today is the new Samsung Jet. According to the company, it has already received 2 million pre-orders for the said device in the past seven days. This pre-order figure surpasses even Samsung’s best-seller Tocco and Omnia phone range. What does the Samsung Jet have that make many techies crave for it?
Well, the upcoming Samsung Jet is with an 800MHz processor. It also connects via a 3.6Mb/s HSDPA 3G, but it also supports Wi-Fi. The obviously impressive feature of the jet is its 3.1-inch WVGA touchscreen that’s able to produce 16m colors. Its 400x800-pixels resolution is considerably higher than any other touchscreen available these days, including the newly launched iPhone 3GS. This touchscreen features the intuitive TouchWiz User Interface and the company’s Dolfin internet browser. This browser is seems great because it automatically blocks advertisements and allows single-finger navigation.
Its other features include a 5-megapixel camera, enough to take crisp pictures whenever the fancy takes you. The face detection, smile shot, blink detection, and geo-tagging are features that make this camera a joy to use. Storage is not a problem because of its 2GB internal memory that is expandable up to 16GB. A micro USB port, Bluetooth 2.1, and headphone jack are available as well. The Jet also supports various video and audio formats.
You can get Samsung Jet through Vodafone for free but with a $32 fee per month.
