It really pays to be a royalty. I quite envy Queen Elizabeth II of England right now because she is the honoured recipient of a gold-plated Nintendo Wii. I doubt if she’ll ever take an interest to play with it. But I’m sure the young monarchs, Princes William and Harry will be very interested. With a one-of-a-kind design, for sure they’ll have a great time playing with it.
I don’t think this gold-plated Wii will be produced in large quantities soon because it was only made on a special commission by game developer THQ. This was done as a part of the promotion for THQ’s new “Big Family Games” line for the Wii. Along with the gold-plated Wii console, the Queen will also receive this new collection of games. Exciting games that everyone of the family will enjoy like gold, tennis, horseshoes, and lawn darts are some of the games included in the “Big Family Games.”
According to THQ, the new game collection is really intended for the whole family and as the Royal Family is considered as the most important family in England, it’s only right for them to have a copy. And to make each gaming experience extra special, they must have a one-of-a-kind console; hence the gold-plated Nintendo Wii.
Cute isn’t it? The gold-plated Wii I mean.
That's interesting. Though I doubt Their Royal Highnesses Prince William and Prince Harry will actually play it, perhaps the younger members of the Royal Family.
Just two mistakes in the article: You refer to Her Majesty as "of England", whereas The Queen is Head of State of the entire United Kingdom (including England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland), as well 15 more countries (including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Jamaica, etc). Common mistake, but a quick internet search and read on QEII would tell you this. Also, Prince William and Prince Harry aren't monarchs, they are Princes...
