Are you ready to take on the Wave? Wave is the latest application that Google is developing for its users. This application aims to simplify the way people handle their emails, IM, and other online accounts. But, take note, Wave will involve input from other users. If you create something through Wave, everyone included in your account can improve it using rich HTML, pictures, videos, and other useful contents found in the Web. And while those changes are being done, you can communicate with those friends included in your Wave. So, you can see all the changes being done in real time. Wave is created by Lars Rasmussen, his brother Jens, and other developers. At this point in time, Wave is still at its early stages of development. Much work still needs to be done in order for it to become the application that Google and the Rasmussen brothers envision it to be. So, as early as today, Google is already sharing Wave with developers who might want to build new and unique extensions and applications intended especially for the Wave.

Only a limited number of developers have access to Wave at this point, but Google hopes to expand it in the coming months. Google has very high hopes for the Wave and it’s now the company’s top priority; although it’ll be several months before Wave becomes accessible for public use.
