Do you want to try out a new search engine? Experience new Bing, the latest search engine developed Microsoft. After much hype, Bing went live in the United States during the weekend. Aside from getting a percentage of the search market from Google, Microsoft also hopes that Bing will provide users with more practical experience than what other search engine provide these days. So how does Bing provide this? When you enter a query on the search engine, it doesn’t just provide information about the item being asked about. The result also includes links to various sites that might also be useful to the user.

The search engine’s interface also contains categories not just for searches but also for images, videos, shopping, news, maps, and travel. A user just has to click on any of these to make his search easier. After clicking on one, results are immediate. The order of the results is very different from Google’s. You’ll immediately see the huge difference between Bing and Google.

So, why did Microsoft choose the name Bing? According to them, “the name is short, it’s easy to say, it works globally.”
