Intereader Cool-er: The New E-book Reader Contender

Intereader Cool-er

If you think the e-book hype is over already, think again. I don’t think e-book reader makers have exhausted their efforts yet because a new reader has been launched recently, although it’s not from Sony, Amazon, or Fujitsu. The new reader called Cool-er is manufactured by Interead. The Cool-er reader has a character of its own with its lightweight and colorful design. Weighing just 170 grams and with eight colors available, the Cool-er is a great tool for reading e-books in.

It has 1GB of memory that can be used for storing e-books in. And if that storage space is not enough, there’s also an SD memory card slot available.

It also makes use of the black-and-white E Ink technology that other e-book readers use, so the user will still feel like he’s reading from actual paper. This device supports documents in PDF and EPUB formats.

However, it’s only fair to point out some of its downside. Interead’s Cool-er doesn’t have wireless connectivity, so there’s no way to download e-books straight on the device. And although Interead has its own online store, most of its books are a bit on the expensive side!
